about me ☺️

sherry xu chou is a designer with a bachelor of science in health sciences from drexel university and a master of fine arts in design from the california college of the arts. she is currently working at letterform archive in the exhibitions team.
her practice mainly gravitates towards all types of publication design and highlighting how design is a storytelling method. the inclusion of exhibition design has taught her to see how space can also be used as a tool of communication in telling the stories that design is meant to tell.
with a background in medicine and science, sherry believes that all good design and moments of inspiration come from experimentation and trial and error while not forgoing craft and attention to detail.
fun facts:
-”xu” is her maiden name
-she embroiders for fun
-background noise is necessary for her to concentrate (usually takes the form of a true crime podcast)
-🥲 is her favorite emoji
-she is listed as an author on 3 published scientific articles (links on her linkedin!)
